Doubtless Hut | Lake Sumner Forest Park
Doubtless Hut is a typical New Zealand Forest Service SF70 hut in almost original condition, at least the open fireplace remains. The open fire was rebuilt in 2022 by the Backcountry Hut Trust.
The poor orientation and lack of big windows or insulation means that mould is a significant issue, but don’t let that put you off.
